[ Palm kernel oil ]
Not to be confused with palm oil, a palm kernel oil is a highly saturated seed oil derived from the kernel of the oil palm Elaeis guineensis.
Palm kernel oil contains mostly lauric acid (48,2%), myristic acid (16.2%) and palmitic acid (8.4%), and is semi-solid at room temperature.
