Seminar: The Truth About Calories
Are all calories are alike? Absolutely not! And the differences are very important to good health; not just weight loss.
Still, if your goal is to lose weight, then this knowledge will enable you to do so more easily and to keep it off permanently.
At this, our first meeting, I will present an overview of the different metabolic energy pathways in the context of the three macro-nutrients (fats, proteins and carbohydrates). Time permitting, I will drill down and discuss metabolic differences between various carbohydrates. I’ll try to leave plenty of time for Q&A.
