Omega-7 Fatty Acid

Any polyunsaturated fatty acid of the alpha-omega class in which there is a double bond, seven carbon atoms from the methyl (omega) end of the molecule. Common omega-7 fatty acids include palmitoleic acid and vaccenic acid.

Sources include macadamia oil and avocado oil.
